Wetland Bee Company is a small business committed to a gentle and intentional bee removal process that ensures bees are unharmed and relocated to keep their colony intact and bring peace of mind to our clients.  Wetland Bee Company relocates the bees down to the wetlands of south St Bernard parish. We have both marsh and swamp wetlands for our bees to forage and collect resources.  This is a wild frontier with diverse vegetation that aids in the health of our bees. We are outside of the flood protection which presents many challenges, but for us, it is worth it. We love the wetlands, and we love bees.

RAW  HONEY

20180610_111141_edited_edited_edited_edited_edited.jpg

The honey from Southeast Louisiana has a unique flavor that you experience, not just taste. The flavor has an essence of all the flowering plants and trees that make up the swamp's diverse vegetation and changes with the seasons. There is NO large scale agriculture in our part of SELA. This means there is no pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. We lightly strain it to remove bee parts and wax, but the pollen and other beneficial vitamins and minerals remain intact. One can really see all the pollen particulate once the honey has been jarred. Call us to find out where to purchase locally or for a shipping quote.
